The charred banana loaf is a real treat for the dessert lover. All you need is a large bowl to mix all the ingredients, a baking pan and an oven to bake the mix at 180˚for approximately 35 minutes (adjust the baking time if you want the loaf slightly more baked). A big plus is that this sweet loaf is gluten free!

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 mashed ripe bananas
  • 4-6 spn organic maple syrup (can adjust according to preferred level of sweetness)
  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • 200g ground almonds
  • ½ cup raspberries (you may also use blueberries, pecan nuts or dry currents)
  • +- 1 cup macadamia nut butter
