Y-Attempts is an exclusive network of young people from South African urban township who empower one another by sharing knowledge, skills and experiences. Members of the network have access to exclusive online content, training sessions, workshops and conferences.
The network seeks to give young people access to knowledge and skills that are relevant to their circumstances to help them transform their lives and their communities. The resources of the network aim to teach young people how to achieve their highest potential and find creative solutions to some of South Africa’s most pressing challenges, including youth unemployment, mental illness, gender-based violence, crime and the poor education system.
The platform is designed to give young people the chance to informally educate themselves, share their knowledge and skills and connect with other young people from urban townships in their region.
Details of how to join or volunteer at the network will follow shortly.
